It may be easy not to cut last gen games some slack in this department, with the visual spoils of the new gen era. With the likes of April O’Neil, Casey Jones and of course master Splinter, can the gang save New York City? Of course they can, we are talking about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles here! But in order to do so, the Turtle gang must find the mutagen aka ooze before Shredder and his gang does. Often armed with his loyal Foot Clan and unorthodox partnership with the Krang, Shredder now was his army of mutants running rampant across the city and it’s up to Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo to put an end to his devious plans. As mentioned earlier in the walkthrough, the main upgrades you get for your weapons are found at the little statues scattered around in the game.įor the Shurikens, there are 4 levels of upgrades you can obtain: your basic Single Star, a Tri-Star throwing ability, an 'Electric' Star that lets you open yellow doors, and a Bomb Star that allows you to open red doors.TMNT: Danger of the Ooze is set between season 2 and 3 of the popular Nickelodeon TV series, and the Shredder is once again causing havoc among the city of New York in his on-going pursuit for power and control.
There are 4 main upgrades that you unlock in the game: Ninja Stars (which are called Shurikens), Egg-Shaped Smoke Bombs, Ninja Focus Skills (which is called Chi), and Pizza (which gives you more health). Next up is the Weapons Upgrades, AKA the most time consuming part of the game.
You then want to get Shell-Shock on your speed run to save time and grief. I recommend that you get all of the upgrades on your 100% playthrough, as you are going to be defeating a lot of enemies in order to see everything this game has to offer.
